That was exactly the goal for this recent project completed by DNB Renovations in a modern Greenpoint condo.
On this project worked with a couple who wanted a space that felt calmer, more contemporary, and better suited to city living. We began with 3D design previews to lock in the look and layout, then upgraded the tile and flooring to terrazzo to bring in a modern, textured base. Soft pastel tones kept the room light, while sleek black fixtures and a custom fixed glass shower panel with a black aluminum frame added that clean, architectural contrast that works so well in NYC condos.
The clients wanted to keep their existing vanity, so we designed around it and introduced warm wood shelving for additional storage and a more inviting feel. Everything was finished with proper waterproofing and detailing so the bathroom not only looks elevated but will perform over time.
