At DNB Renovations, we back our workmanship with a 5-Year Limited Labor Warranty. That level of coverage is one of the longest in the industry and reflects the confidence we have in our team, our process, and the quality of the spaces we build.

We believe a renovation should come with lasting peace of mind. If a workmanship-related issue comes up within five years of project completion, our team will review it and, when it falls within warranty coverage, correct it at no additional labor cost.

What Our Warranty Covers

This warranty applies to defects in labor performed by DNB Renovations for five (5) years from the date your project is completed. If a problem is found to be the result of our workmanship during that period, we will take the necessary steps to make it right.

What Is Not Covered

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or improper maintenance.
  • Issues resulting from natural events or outside conditions beyond our control.
  • Alterations, repairs, or modifications performed by third parties not approved by DNB Renovations.
  • Normal wear and tear, aging, or gradual material deterioration over time.
  • Materials, fixtures, appliances, and manufacturer-supplied products, which remain covered by their own warranties where applicable.

Warranty Limits

This warranty is limited to labor only. It does not include reimbursement for third-party work, incidental damages, or product-related defects that fall under manufacturer responsibility.

Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original property owner connected to the project.

Limited Warranty

DNB warrants solely to the original contracting customer that, for a period of five (5) years from substantial completion, the labor and workmanship directly performed by DNB under this Agreement will be free from material defects. This warranty is limited to defects in installation and workmanship performed by DNB and excludes all materials, equipment, products, and third-party work except to the extent of any assignable third-party warranty actually received by DNB. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, ordinary deterioration, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications or repairs, damage caused by third parties, environmental conditions, force majeure events, or any condition outside DNB’s reasonable control. The customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty shall be, at DNB’s option, repair, re-performance, or refund of the portion of the contract price attributable to the defective work. Any claim must be submitted in writing within the warranty period and within thirty (30) days after discovery of the defect, and DNB must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and cure. This warranty is non-transferable, applies only if all contract amounts have been paid in full, and is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by DNB. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all implied warranties are disclaimed, DNB shall have no liability for indirect or consequential damages, and DNB’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected work.

 
Cessation of Operations; Exclusive Remedy.

The customer acknowledges that DNB is not required to maintain any office, personnel, inventory, or ongoing business operations for the purpose of providing warranty service. If DNB has permanently ceased active business operations, the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for any timely and otherwise valid warranty claim shall be a refund of the portion of the contract price allocable to the defective work, not to exceed the amounts actually paid to DNB for such work. Any such obligation shall be solely that of DNB as the contracting entity and shall be payable only from assets of DNB legally available for the payment of claims. No owner, shareholder, member, manager, director, officer, employee, or affiliate of DNB shall have any personal liability for any warranty claim or other obligation under this Agreement.
