From Dark and Lifeless to Light and Inviting
The existing kitchen felt heavy and dated, with a darker palette that didn’t reflect the client’s style or how she wanted to feel at home. Our goal was to brighten the space, improve everyday function, and create a clean, modern look without sacrificing warmth.
A Clean, Modern Plan with Warm Materials
We guided the design through 3D renderings and a curated finish palette to balance minimalism with natural texture. Locally fabricated custom white oak cabinetry became the foundation—paired with seamless, hardware-free 45° openings for a refined, uninterrupted look. A Cutworm countertop and backsplash were selected as a matched set for a continuous, elevated feel, complemented by Kohler fixtures and the client’s existing appliances.
Coordinated Remodeling While the Client Traveled
With the client overseas, we managed the full build—coordination, scheduling, and quality control—so everything moved smoothly while she was away. From custom cabinetry fabrication to electrical upgrades, installation, and finishing, each phase was executed with precision. A new wine cooler was integrated as the centerpiece upgrade, and flooring plus lighting selections were finalized to complete the transformation.
